Our short sale is complete!!! This statement can only be said because of Amber Crawford. Her diligence, continuing phone calls, and leg work are the reasons the short sale went through. The stress and relief is gone. Soon we should be able to buy another home. Amber sold us our first home 7 yrs. ago, and we will continue to do business with her. Amber is honest, sincere and her customer service skills are impeccable.

Ms. Crawford was my real estate agent in 2011 and I ended up with a great deal on a house in Henderson. She has my highest recommendation. I kept changing my mind on the type and location of what I was looking for; but she was never exasperated and always expressed willingness to see more places and would offer great suggestions. She is very charming with the client, but tough when it comes to representing the client. She works tirelessly and closely reviews all forms and documents, the suggestions she gave me while preparing my offer were invaluable.
In the past I have dealt with agents who claimed to represent a large geographic area but it become obvious they had no knowledge of individual neighborhoods. That is not an issue with Ms. Crawford, she has always lived in Las Vegas and been involved in real estate most of the time. I was looking at Henderson which she knows really well, and she also gave me advice on other desirable areas of Las Vegas.

I have been thinking about this a lot. But like a fine wine, I needed the ideas to ferment in my head before I put them down. Like a posse, you don't just throw one together, it must be organized.
My wife and I hatched the daring plan to move to Las Vegas in late 2004. We knew this would be a difficult, daunting plan that needed allies that would look after our needs. I, growing up in Los Angeles, had been coming to this town since I was 9 years old. My wife, had been here a couple of times, but we had one glaring deficency, we had never ventured beyond the normal tourist venues in this fine city. We, living in Virginia at the time, needed someone we could trust without wavering, in this endeavor.
I contacted a high school friend who had moved here a couple of years ahead of us. I asked about a realtor, she recommended Amber Crawford. My friend Jennifer told me that she had run the gamut of realtors in this city, many did not take her needs into consideration, just their commission. I did a few online searches of Amber, and honestly, I was a little worried, I could not find a lot of info on her. Instead, I found other "big name" realtors. I asked Jennifer about this, she assurred me that Amber was who I wanted. Jennifer's experience was that these "big name" folk hired flunkies to do their bidding, and they'd only be present at signing. This was not what we were looking for.
I contacted Amber, she was on the ball with what we wanted, what we could afford, and, frankly, every little detail we could imagine. Amber provided us with state, county and city websites so we could see what neighborhood we wanted. These were very informative, and were not biased so that she could bank a big commission. My wife and I flew out here to meet and house hunt. After the first day back at the hotel, my wife looked at me and said "We're gonna buy a house from this woman...I know it". It took two years, and multiple trips, but finally, in May 2006, we purchased our home in Las Vegas. Amber even attended our home inspection, as we could not. She immediately relayed what had been found, and what needed attention. What has always stayed with my wife was Amber's patience as a we went through a two year transition from the east coast to Las Vegas. Amber has a unique spin on this city. First and foremost, she was born and raised here. Not many people, let alone realtors, can say that. She listened to what we wanted, and didn't want. The biggest thing for us, being in Virginia at the time, was the close personal service she gave, assisting us in every phase of the sale. Phone calls, emails, websites...she even gave us tips on selling our home in Virginia!!! She gave her all. At times we felt as though we were her only customer, though we knew that was not the case.
Finding a person who has your back in today's world is tough. Finding a realtor who has your back can be near the impossible. Amber is the exception to this.
As a final testament to Amber's professional ability, she remains my friend to this day. In fact, because of Amber's continued friendship and support, even after the purchase of our home was completed, my wife was able to meet her boss, and get her job. I defy anyone out there to say that the realtor they bought their house from is their friend.
